SALES AND REFUNDS POLICY.
90 Day Return Policy:
FDW understands the importance of choosing the right product for your
project. If you are not completely satisfied with your store or online purchase,
simply return the merchandise to FDW within 90 days of purchase with a valid
sales receipt, and we will refund your purchase. We reserve the right to limit
or deny returns or exchanges. For returns after 90 days or without a receipt,
we may provide a refund at our discretion and at the last lowest price for the
item. A valid photo ID is required. Information from the ID will be recorded at
the time of the return.
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Once a product has been installed, it cannot be returned. FDW is not
responsible for product defect or damage, property damage or lost labor costs
due to faulty installation. Claims for damage or shortages must be made upon
receipt of product. Thoroughly inspect all products before installation as use
will constitute acceptance. Installed flooring is considered the property of the
owner/installer and cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason.
Returned items must be in their original condition. Wood flooring and LVT-
Material must be in unopened boxes without damage to the packaging. If the
packaging shows potential concealed damage the material will not be
refunded. Carpet and Turf – Material cannot be cut or dirty.
Refund method and timing:
With a few exceptions, we will reimburse you for returned items in the same
way you paid for them. If you prefer, you can make an exchange for the same
item.
For returns by mail, once we receive your return, we will process it within 7–15
business days. Depending on your bank’s processing time, it may take up to 7
days after we process the return to reflect on your account.
If you paid more than $800 in cash or more than $250 by check or by a debit
card without a major credit card logo, we will refund you by check within 10
business days. Any amounts deducted from a gift card will be credited to the gift card. If you no longer have the gift card used for an order, please call us at
(800) 421-6723 with your order number handy, and we’ll be happy to send
you a replacement.
Shipping and Handling:
Once and item has shipped it can be returned; however, it is the responsibility
of the customer to get the material back to FDW and cover the return shipping
costs.
How to return an item:
– Gather the purchases you want to return, along with the original contents and
packaging.
– Return at a store
You may return any item purchased on FDWflooring.com as long as it meets the criteria for a refund. For faster return processing, please bring your packing slip (if you received one), or your receipt, the credit card used to make your purchase, and a valid photo ID.
Find a store
– Ship back the purchase
Once material has been received it will be inspected to see if it can be
restocked. If it meets the criterial for a refund you can ship to anyone of our
locations for processing.
Special considerations:
Damaged, defective or incorrect items If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to us and we’ll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by shipping during your return and exchange time period,
please call us for special instructions at (800) 421-6723.
Returns lacking proof of purchase:
Reimbursements on returns lacking proof of purchase may require an email
address, may be denied or limited, and state sales taxes and fees will not be
reimbursed.
Restocking fees:
Some items we sell (see below for the detailed list) have a restocking fee if returned by any customer.
Carpet & Turf – Any roll less than 50’ in length. Restock fee is 30%.
